Unattended Scattering Service - $140.00

A family member or the funeral home mails the Cremated Remains to Peace At Sea. Upon reciept of Cremated Remains, Captain Mark Hatfield voyages out 3 to 5 nautical miles offshore and performs a dignified ceremony. Pay $35.00 deposit now or make full payment now. A family member or the funeral home will ship the Cremated Remains along with an Authorization Form to Peace At Sea. Click here for shipping instructions. Click here for printable Authoriztion Form.

Upon receiving the cremated remains, Captain Mark will voyage out 3 to 5 nautical miles offshore. Once on location, Captain Mark Hatfield reads aloud any words or poetry provided to him by the family or chooses a reading of his own before scattering the cremated remains into the sea. The exact location, time and sea conditions are recorded before performing the "Circle of Remembrance" by slowly circumnavigating the scattering two times.

Flowers, photos, videos and a chaplain are all available options for the unattended services. Three certificates of Burial At Sea along with an aerial photograph of the scattering location will be mailed within 3 days of ceremony. The certificates contain exact GPS coordinates which can be revisited on any computer by using Google Earth.

Chaplain Accompaniment - $100.00
A Chaplain can accompany the Captain and be present for attended or unattended services.
Rev. Shawn Critser - Pastor, Beach Baptist Church provides a glorious ceremony.

Flowers Prearranged - $70.00
Flowers can be prearranged and on the boat for your ceremony. Call Captain Mark at 239-839-2109 to choose color and style.

Photo CD - $50.00
10 or more photographs provided on a CD which will be mailed along with the Certificates.
In addition to photos of the Ceremony, there may also be photos of the departure views and return views along with other photos we take along the way that we feel may have meaning to you and your family.

DVD Movie - $75.00
A video of the ceremony can be placed onto a high quality DVD.

With over 13,000 songs in his collection and a true love of music, Captain Mark welcomes you to email him a short list song titles and he will play them during the unattended ceremony.
